Review summary
Based on recent reviews

Guests consistently appreciate the hotel's excellent location, just a block from the Roman Baths, and many find the rooms to be a good size and well-equipped, some even featuring a courtyard with semi-private outdoor space. Complimentary soft drinks in the fridge are a much-loved touch, as is the free access to the thermal spa with its mineral pool. Some guests, however, have mentioned that the limited time slots for the pool without extra charges were disappointing. Breakfast receives high praise for its quality, with options including French pastries, fruit, and yogurts.

ABSOLUTELY wonderful stay!

spacious room marble bathroom free minibar luxury product
I stayed in a very spacious room! It had a hallway entrance and a marble bathroom. My room included a HUGE bed and views across the city from each window. The free minibar was such a nice touch. The luxury Elemis products in the bathroom smelled AMAZING!!!
The access to the spa felt slightly restricted. I wish it was open for longer hours each day.
Facilities
9/10
The spa provides mineral pools with varying temperatures, infrared sauna, steam room and a regular sauna. There are cooled face cloths and plenty of towels plus fresh water available. Guests can easily access the spa amenities in the morning and evening.
Dining
10/10
Breakfast offered MANY choices, and everything was cooked to my requirements. The buffet featured french pastries, fruit, cereals, and various yogurts. I especially enjoyed the delicious french pastries and fresh fruit.
Service
10/10
The staff are exemplary and WORK hard to meet the needs of every guest. Staff from reception, housekeeping, and dining are all warm and kind. The concierge was skilled and natural in his role.
